Acceleration = Change in velocity/time
Change in velocity = 30-10 = 20m/s
Acceleration = 20/5 = 4m/s2

Negative acceleration (deceleration) indicates that an object is slowing down.
4.If an object moves with constant velocity, what is its acceleration?
Zero, because there is no change in velocity. This does assume the object travels in the same direction!
