1. Explain the difference between a scalar quantity and a vector quantity
Scalar quantity has a magnitude only, no direction
Vector quantity has a magnitude and a direction

Scalar quantities: time, temperature, mass, density, volume, speed, power and distance
Vector quantities:acceleration, velocity, force, weight, momentum and displacement
3. Draw a vector diagram for an arrow that has a force of 20N at a bearing of 090º and weight force of 5N at a bearing of 180º, using a scale of 1cm = 5N.
